Parental involvement, whether as a team volunteer, cheerleader or coach, is a key to success. Each player will receive a team jersey and participation award. Every child plays at least half of every game.

This is a competitive basketball league that gives boys and girls a chance to go beyond our Non-Competitive League. Coaches are allowed to register a whole team and keep the team together over the years. Emphasis is on player development through higher level competition. Even though this is a competitive league, the Y still encourages and promotes healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition and sportsmanship.

Teams practice once per week and play eight games per season in addition to a season ending tournament. The season will end with a single-elimination tournament. Playing time varies according to each coach. NMAA High school rules apply. The Winter season registration is now closed!
