I think you need to replace the files in Silent Hill's folder with the files downloaded from their page, unless they aren't in folders, like XInput, 3d audio, the modified exe and maybe others. Just in case anybody who sees this doesn't know about it, make sure you install the SH2 Enhanced Edition mods with this. It's slightly time-consuming but easy to set up, and significantly improves the PC version of the game in a million ways.
